THORNLEA Secondary School is the FIRST NJC Champion!

Thornlea Secondary School came to the Nation's Capital to win!
Going into the NJC Championship Finals with a 10-1 record, Thornlea went on to win their pool play games 89-80 vs Bill Crothers Secondary School and 73-60 over Michael Power-St. Joseph High School, sending them to the final against Crestwood Preparatory College!
The finals did not disappoint with both teams showing everyone exactly why they were there! A back and forth battle for most of the game but Thornlea pulled away in the 4th quarter to win the FIRST NJC title 86-78.
